Oman UAE Exchange opens 38th outlet in Qurm

 

 

Oman UAE Exchange, a remittance service provider in Oman, opened its 38th outlet in the sultanate in Qurm on Tuesday, according to a press release.

“This is the first branch to be inaugurated in 2012 and we are glad that more people will be able to avail our services. We have been requested repeatedly by our customers to open a branch in Qurm.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the government and Central Bank of Oman for their guidance and support without which this wouldn’t have been a reality,” a company official said.

Oman UAE Exchange opened its first branch in Ruwi in 1995. Recognised as a Superbrand in Oman, the company has maintained its status for three consecutive years (2009-2011), the release stated.

According to a survey conducted in 2011, the company was ranked as the number one exchange company in Oman and placed seventh among 180 greatest brands in the sultanate.

UAE Exchange, the parent company has over 560 direct offices around the globe in 29 countries with approximately 3.5mn customers. The company has above 7,500 employees spread across five continents.

The branch was inaugurated in the presence of Abdullah Humaid al Mazroei, chairman, Dr B R Shetty, MD and CEO, Sheikh Saif al Maskeri, vice chairman, Sudhir Kumar Shetty, chief operating officer and Tonny George Alexander, country head of Oman UAE Exchang.

The branch is located in Al Wadi Commercial Centre.

The event also observed the recognition given to MD and CEO of Oman UAE Exchange and the NMC Group, Dr B R Shetty who was awarded the ‘Healthcare CEO of the Year’ on Monday in Dubai. The award was given to Dr Shetty for his contribution to the field of healthcare.
