Comments: Tawdheef, presented by Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council and organised by Informa Exhibitions, is the region’s leading recruitment exhibition that focuses on Emiratisation, Employment, and Career Development. Inaugurated by Ali Rashed Al Ketbi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council, Tawdheef 2011 was a huge success with over 28,000 visitors attending the three day event from Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
The role of Emiratisation was clearly visible this year as the first two days of the exhibition were dedicated to Emirati’s only, the 71 companies present confirmed that they had over 2,500 vacancies available for UAE Nationals which ranged from banking and administrative roles to the more technical fields including mechanical and nuclear engineering.
Now in its 6th edition, Tawdheef is growing at an unparalleled pace with a 28% increase in visitor numbers this year. It offers the perfect platform for companies interested in developing their UAE national workforce and meeting qualified Emirati professionals, an opportunity not to be missed.
